KUALA SELANGOR: The presence of many people who went out to vote today shows a democratic success in electing leaders as championed by Pakatan Rakyat, said the Selangor Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.
“Pakatan Rakyat is truly a party that is championing for democracy to be improved so that the people decide the leadership.
“Today is very significant and the presence of so many peoples is a success for us to practice democracy,” he said.
Abdul Khalid said this after casting his vote at the Polling Centre at the Kampung Api-Api Jeram Primary Religious School (SRA) here at 12pm.
“I found that a lot voted in the morning, however, we must learn how to reduce the waiting time to three hours.
