KUALA LUMPUR, June 20: A massive “flashmob” will be held tomorrow as the Blackout Assembly on Saturday, June 22, draws near.
The activity will be held in the evening, starting at the Sogo supermarket on Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman and will end at the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall (KLSCAH) on Jalan Maharajalela.
This matter was informed by the Coordinator of Youth Solidarity Malaysia (SAMM), Azmir Mustafa.
“The massive flashmob will be held on Friday (June 21),” he told reporters yesterday.
Previously, early 15 youths held a peaceful flashmob in front of the Masjid Jamek LRT Station on Jalan Tun Perak.
According to SAMM Propaganda Director, Edy Noor Redzuan, this flashmob serves as a mobilisation towards June 22.
“For today, these are just spontaneous acts occurring at certain spots.
“I guarantee that as long as there are not more than four people at these spots, no arrests can happen,” he said before the flashmob started.
The flashmob today took place peacefully and there were no arrests.
