SHAH ALAM, July 30: DAP will hold a meeting tomorrow to discuss the case of the cancellation of the party’s Central Executive Committee (CEC) by the Registrar of Societies (ROS) Commission.
The Arrangements Secretary, Anthony Loke Siew Fook, when contacted by TVSelangor today refused to comment further on the matter but said that the decision will be made at the meeting.
“The meeting will be held tomorrow, but so far, we have yet to receive any letter (about the cancellation of the CEC by ROS),” he said.
The Malaysiakini portal reported that the Home Affairs Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi announced the decision of the ROS yesterday.
However, the matter has not been notified to DAP in writing.
Previously, ROS reportedly investigated the party’s CEC election in December for alleged errors in voting and vote counting.
