SUBANG JAYA, 26 Jan: The Car Boot Sale programme helps the community to obtain additional income with little capital without any stalls or tents.
The Subang Jaya Assemblyman, Hannah Yeoh, said that the programme also encourages interaction among the community and the opportunity to meet each other.
“With proceeds from the sales of used goods, despite being a little, it helps meet daily needs.
“We hope that this programme continues to be successful and have an impact on Selangor as 2015 is the Visit Selangor Year,” said Hannah.
She said this during the launch of the Peace Car Boot Sale at the Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) 3C Complex.
The Yang DiPertua of MPSJ, Datuk Nor Hisham Ahmad Dahlan, said that the programme which is organised every Sunday, from 8 am to 12 pm, has been going on since January 4.
He said that the programme is being organised to introduce the MPSJ 3C Complex to the community and provide opportunities to small-time traders to sell bundle items at a low price.
If interested, traders can just go to the Car Boot Sale location on Sunday or contact Puan Adilia at 03-5370279 or Nazim at 017-6571555.
