SHAH ALAM, 12 Jan: The Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, was awarded the Darjah Kerabat Selangor Yang Amat Dihormati (D.K.) during an official ceremony held at Bukit Kayangan Palace today.
The D.K. award was awarded by the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, in conjunction with his 69th birthday celebration on December 11.
The ceremony was also witnessed by the Raja Permaisuri Perak, Tuanku Zara Salim; the Chief Minister of Selangor, Mohamed Azmin Ali and the Chief Minister of Perak, Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir.
On December 11, 102 people received Selangor awards and honours during a ceremony in conjunction with the 69th birthday celebration of Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah at the Alam Shah Palace in Klang.
Two Selangor Exco members, Iskandar Abdul Samad and Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi, were also awarded the Darjah Kebesaran Datuk Paduka Mahkota Selangor (D.P.M.S.) (Second Class) which carries the title ‘Datuk’.
