Recognising that the people is hoping for a transformation in the national politics, towards a more democratic, fair and harmonious governance and a government who is committed to implement institutional reforms, practice good governance and prioritise on the people’s welfare; and

Regretting the fact that Malaysia under the governance of Barisan Nasional is in a state of severe crisis, tainted with scandals relating to corruption and power abuse which are out of the ordinary, and that the citizens are bearing the brunt of it all;

Hence, Pakatan Harapan is taking the responsibility to come to the people’s defense and rebuild the nation which has been destroyed by Dato Sri Najib Tun Razak’s administration. Through the KEADILAN, DAP, AMANAH and PPBM political coalition, we shall mobilise all the strength from the people to win the 14th General Election (GE14) and form a government.

Therefore, Pakatan Harapan upholds the following goals:

  2. To restore the sovereignty and supremacy of law as per the Malaysian Constitution;
  3. To revoke and correct all actions taken by Dato’ Seri Najib’s administration which has violated the law and the people’s interest including to get back the people’s money which was lost through huge scandals such as 1MDB;
  4. To release all political detainees and acquit them from all political charges;
  5. To reform the law and institutions which have been misused especially relating to the power of Prime Minister; and
  6. To limit the service of a Prime Minister to only two terms

As a sign of a more incisive, fresh and dynamic political unity, Pakatan Harapan Presidential Council agrees with the new Pakatan Harapan leadership structure which are as follows:
