MB continues tour to Jordan

SHAH ALAM, MAY 2:  The Selangor Government delegation led by Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali will depart for Jordan tomorrow to continue their working-visit to the Middle East.

The tour will see that another aid given by the State Government to Selangor students besides continuing a dialogue session with them.

Mohamed Azmin is also schedules to meet the Malaysian Ambassador to Jordan, TYT Tuan Zakri Jaafar in the evening.

Among the state leaders who accompanied him were State Excos, Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, Dato’ Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi and Dr Daroyah Alwi as well as Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS) Director, Dato’ Haris Kasim.

The State Government had earlier announced a RM3,000 aid through the Peduli Siswa education fund for Selangor born children studying in the Middle East.

He said, to reduce the students’ burden, the State Government will increase the aid from RM2,500 to RM3,000 per person for their study expenses there.
