SHAH ALAM, SEP 8: Smart Selangor emerges with a new image featuring the concept of synergy and relations in effort to develop Selangor into a smart state by 2025.
The concept was chosen as it is consistent with the state’s administration that consistently develops the Smart Selangor agenda for the benefit of all its citizens.
It was officiated by Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali at the Setia City Convention Centre yesterday in conjunction with the Selangor International Business Summit 2017.
The new logo was created by an Asia Pacific University student, Winnie Tan Jia who also brought home RM3,000 in cash, from the Smart Selangor logo design contest, last August.
Smart Selangor is a concept that has been focusing on several core domains among which are Smart Governance, Smart Waste Management, Smart Transport and Mobility and Smart Digital Infrastructure.
The Smart Selangor development is implemented to drive the state’s growth to achieve a Smart State status and has been implemented since 2015.
It was also created to achieve economic development objectives, effective service delivery systems to provide a better quality of life to the people.
