Selangor’s progress attracts foreign investor

BATU CAVES, OCT 2: Selangor’s laudable development and economic achievement are driving foreign investors to invest in the state.

Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said this was evident from his five-days visit with State Government delegation to India recently.

“We wanted to see how Selangor’s success reached the international community and how we can build a cooperation network to ensure we get investment that genuinely benefit the people and businessmen in Selangor.

“The information we got showed that Selangor is viewed as a suitable and safe destination for them to invest,” he said.

He said that in the Majlis Menyemarakkan Inisiatif Peduli Rakyat dan Ramah Mesra Bersama Dato’ Menteri Besar at the Al-Khairiyah Mosque in Taman Sri Gombak yesterday.

He said the uniqueness of Selangor and Malaysia, as a multi-race, multi-religion and multi-cultural state and country respectively, is also an advantage in this matter.

Mohamed Azmin said, the delegation to Chennai, Tamil Nadu and Hyderabad was joined by Invest Selangor, as India has achieved great progress, attracting international parties and companies to invest there.

“We respect and help each other, and clearly this principle creates the trust for foreign investor to come due to the State Government’s stability.

“I am thankful for Selangor’s success that it has become the most progressed state with the citizens gaining all the benefit,” he said.
