SHAH ALAM, 17 Mar: Muslims have been warned to not be easily fooled by slanderous news and rumours which are being spread by the various media.

DYMM (His Royal Highness) the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah said that all news should be examined in greater depth and in detail before making any statements or taking any action.

“Every move, speech, action and decision made will determine one’s own future, as well as the future of ones family and country,” said Sultan Sharafuddin.

He said this during the Bukit Jelutong Tengku Ampuan Jemaah Mosque Opening Ceremony here.

The mosque was built at a cost of RM25.5 million.

The cost was borne by Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah’s wakf (religious endowment) contributions of RM6 million, the Selangor Government (RM11 million), Sime Darby Property Bhd (RM6 million) and collections from the members of the mosque (RM2.5 million).
