Azmin: A year of being CM, Putrajaya in sight

SABAK BERNAM, 25 Sept: After a year of his appointment as the Chief Minister of Selangor, there is something still on Mohamed Azmin Ali’s mind.

Mohamed Azmin said that this is becoming clearer in his mind when the leadership line-up of the state government managed to prove its ability to govern a government with responsibility, accountability and efficiency.

“What I am hoping for, imagining, is our desire to go to Putrajaya. God-willing, it can be achieved if we can show unity and our ability to develop the economy in Selangor.

“If we succeed, we can make Selangor a model at the national level that we are able to administer and manage a country with full responsibility,” said Mohamed Azmin to Selangor Kini.

He said this at the Selangor Chief Minister’s Qurban Programme in Sabak Bernam in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidil Adha at the Sultan Hishamuddin Mosque, Pekan Sabak, today.

Mohamed Azmin also stressed the awareness of the people in the clear foul play committed by the Barisan Nasional (BN) government in administering and managing public funds.

He stressed that the people should be responsible in choosing a government that can propel the country towards a better future compared to the current administration that has led to many problems, especially economically.

September 23 was one year since Mohamed Azmin was appointed to lead the administration of the Selangor government after Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim resigned.
