Bandar Tun Razak MP’s office broken into

BANDAR TUN RAZAK, 20 June: The Member of Parliament for Bandar Tun Razak, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim’s office here was broken into early this morning.

The Bandar Tun Razak Parliament’s Service Centre Administrative Assistant, Idris Mohtar, when contacted by Selangor Kini said that the incident was realised by an employee of the service centre at 7.40, when coming to start work.

He said that among the lost items is a laptop worth RM2,500, an estimate of RM2,000 in cash and walkie-talkies worth RM600, among other items.

“When the worker arrived at the grill door below the stairs, it was closed but the entrance door was jimmied with an access card, which was broken.

“As workers who just entered at 9am, we just entered to see what items were missing,” he said.

Idris said that the office lodged a police report on the incident at the Salak Selatan Police Station for further action from the police to conduct an investigation.
