KUALA LUMPUR, 29 Aug: The organisers of Bersih 4.0 estimates that around 200,000 participants are gathering at the rally that has been taking place at the capital as of 4pm.
However, the figure is about eight times less than the estimate by the Kuala Lumpur Police Chief, Datuk Tajuddin Md Isa, who announced that there are only around 25,000 participants as of 3pm.
Being at the scene, Selangor Kini sees that the estimate by the organiser is more accurate because all locations involving Sogo, Masjid Jamek, Dataran Maybank, Pasar Seni and Dataran Merdeka is filled with people dressed in yellow.
Bersih 4.0 is being organised to demand electoral transparency and for the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, to resign.
