SHAH ALAM, 16 June: The Collect FC team that won the Batu Tiga Futsal Championship will take part in the Selangor Futsal League that will be held in August.
Collect FC defeated the Virus X team with 3-2, taking home the cash prize of RM1,000 and a trophy.
Meanwhile, the winners of netball and basketball took home a cash prize of RM700 and trophies.
A total of 48 futsal teams, 14 netball and 14 basketball teams competed in the championship that was held at Frenzy Arena, Section 16, on June 14.
It was officiated by the Batu Tiga Assemblyman, Rodziah Ismail, who threw a netball as a sign of the start of the championship.
The programme is recommended for each constituency and the champions will compete at the state level in each sport category.
