DASH Highway: Decision after RTPJ2 finalises

SHAH ALAM, 29 Sept: The Damansara-Shah Alam Highway (DASH) project will only be known after the Petaling Jaya Local Plan 2 (RTPJ2) is finalised.

The Exco for Tourism, Environment, Green Technology and Consumer Affairs, Elizabeth Wong, said that the Selangor government’s decision depends on the plan.

She said the protest by the residents against the final highway adjustments have also been taken note by the Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali.

“We have informed the Chief Minister that the route will end at the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE).

“He will make a decision after the RTPJ2 is finalised,” reported The Malaysian Insider.

Prior to this, Mohamed Azmin said that the DASH project will only be approved if they received agreement from all residents in the area.

He said that he has no right to give consent for the highway project if the residents continue to protest.
