Datuk Fauzi Shaari Dies

SHAH ALAM, 1 Dec: The former Director of the Royal Malaysian Police Criminal Investigation Department, Datuk Mohd Fauzi Shaari, 63, died at the Selayang Hospital just now at around 8.17pm.

The late Datuk Mohd Fauzi died at the Intensive Care Unit in the Selayang Hospital, Selangor, after suffering an infection of the liver and kidneys.

Prior to his death, he managed to join in PAS’ fight and was elected a candidate of PAS for the Larut Parliament, Perak.

He was born in Kampung Pantai Besar, Batu Kurau, Perak, in 1950.

After becoming the Selangor Police Chief, he served as the Director of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Bukit Aman.

His body will be taken to his home in No.7, Jalan 10/15, Section 10, Shah Alam, Selangor.

Selangor Kini expresses deepest condolences to his family and prays that the late Datuk Mohd Fausi is places among the Anbia and Solehin.
