SHAH ALAM, 10 Oct: The organisation of the rally to criticise the Selangor government is just a desperate move by Umno-Barisan Nasional (BN) to divert from the scandals of national leaders.
The Exco for Poverty, Caring Government and Estate Workers, V Ganabatirau, said that the focus of the people is now on the investigation of the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) and the RM2.6 billion donation that has raised a lot of questions.
Hence, he said that the group was claimed to be created to hoodwink the people by associating it with religion, racism and slander.
“The people, regardless of religion or race, across the country already know that the government under the leadership of Datuk Seri Najib Razak, is worrying the future of our children.
“Therefore, such a group was created to shroud the eyes of the people and divert their attention when the people are smart in discerning the truth,” he told Selangor Kini.
He said that this in response to the “Save Selangor from the Haphazard Pakatan Government” that was organised to take place in Ampang.
This rally will be headed by the Sungai Besar Umno Chief, Datuk Jamal Md Yunos, the strong man behind the red-shirt rally on September 16.
