Johari Abdul: Sabotage PR Team Trained by the Military, Police

PETALING JAYA, 9 Apr: PKR claims that there are several groups trained by the Malaysian Armed Forces Intelligence Corps to continuously sabotage and disrupt programmes organised by Pakatan Rakyat (PR).

Sungai Petani Member of Parliament, Datuk Johari Abdul said that apart from the Intelligence Corpse, the police are also involved in training the group.

He said that he received the information a few days ago from several individuals who were trained by the Intelligence Corpse.

“Among the information received is that they train Umno Youth and the public who are not Umno to perform the sabotage and to continuously monitor PR activity.

“They are involved in defending Umno-BN’s political power. We are worried that they are forced to help Umno-BN.

“At first, this information was hard to believe, but because it came from members of certain groups who claim that they were trained, it makes sense for us to believe them,” he said in a press conference here at the PKR office.

Johari added that two groups who claimed to be trained by the Intelligence Corps are the groups ‘Batas’ and ‘Warisan Malaya’, who are now ready to cause chaos, especially in the Klang Valley.

“Members of this group are scattered throughout the country, they are now just waiting for instructions to act. However, we do not know the number of people,” he said.

In relation to that, he said that it is appropriate that the Malaysian Armed Forces Intelligence Corps denies this matter and guarantee that they are not involved in Umno-BN’s dirty politics.

“We also want to know if it is true that a printing press has been stationed at the Genting Kelang Camp to print PR defamatory pamphlets.

“Is it true that Intelligence Corps Officers have been assigned to lead and give out cash by buying PR candidates for the 13th General Elections?” he asked.

He said that he hopes that the upcoming elections will be carried out fairly and the transition of power will be done peacefully if PR managed to form the federal government.
