SHAH ALAM, 16 Sept: The Selangor Select Committee on Agency, Statutory Bodies and Subsidiary Companies (JP-ABAS) will discuss the statement and proposal by the committee at the Selangor State Assembly (DNS) session on October 30.
The JP-ABAS Acting Chairman, Rodziah Ismail, said that the statement was obtained after the committee examined the explanation given by the parties involved in the hearing.
“We held a closed hearing on the two issues raised in the Auditor General’s Report, Bil 33, 2015, in July.
“JP-ABAS assessed the asset management of Yayasan Selangor and PKNS Engineering and Construction to look into the improvements that can be made to ensure that the two companies operate efficiently, smoothly and is a profit to the state government,” said Rodziah to Selangor Kini after chairing the JP-ABAS Closed Hearing at the Annex Building yesterday.
Rodziah is ho;ding the post of Chairman as Saari Sungib is on vacation to perform the Hajj in Makkah.
However, she said that the state government executives have the power to take up the proposals tabled by JP-ABAS.
Prior to this, JP-ABAS also held a hearing on the subsidiary company of the Darul Ehsan Berhad Group (KDEB), Hebat Abadi Sdn Bhd, on the waste management issue in the state.
