SHAH ALAM, JAN 10: The Kuang Multi-Level Interchange is now open to the public.

It was launched on January 9, by Public Works Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.

Also present at the ceremony were Gamuda Land Executive Director Datuk Abdul Sahak Safi, Malaysian Highway Authority Chairman Datuk Ismail Md Salleh and Public Works Department Head Datuk Seri Dr Roslan Md.

The interchange connects three main highways, namely the Kuala Lumpur – Kuala Selangor Expressway (LATAR), North-South Expressway (PLUS) and Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE).

Citing a mainstream media, the expressway is expected to reduce the distance and travel time from Kuala Lumpur by 10 kilometres or 15 minutes.

The interchange, slightly over 3 kilometres, provides direct access to Gamuda Gardens which is a 328-kilometre Gamuda Land new development area with an estimated gross development (GDV) value of over RM10 billion.
