LLM has yet to submit proposal regarding KIDEX

SHAH ALAM, 21 JUNE: All local authorities at all districts in Selangor has not been notified about the construction plans of the Kinrara Damansara Highway (KIDEX).

Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) has yet to submit any proposal plans for the construction of the KIDEX highway.

Due to these circumstances, there should not be pressure directed to the state government at this stage because the planning is still at its early phase.

“We will be following procedures and will wait for LLM to inform us on the roads they plan to build, and then we will pass the road plans to the Local Authorities (PBT) to inform to the residents living within the area.

“Due to the reason where we have yet to receive the plans from LLM, the State government could not inform the PBT to announce the road plans to the public,” he added.

He said so in his statement during a press conference at the Shah Alam Mosque which was also attended by State Exco in Charge of Islamic Affairs, Modern Agriculture and Rural Development, Sallehin Mukhyi.
