SHAH ALAM, 13 Mar: The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) will close part of Kalan Persiaran Bandaraya (Dataran Kemerdekaan, Shah Alam) to facilitate the preparation and organisation of Stage 7 of the Le Tour De Langkawi from Shah Alam to Fraser Hill, which will take place on March 14 (Saturday), 2015.
In a press statement, MBSA stated that Jalan Persiaran Bandaraya (Dataran Kemerdekaan, Shah Alam) will be closed starting March 13 (Friday), 2015, for the preparation work of the Le Tour De Langkawi.
Meanwhile, some roads in the city centre of Shah Alam such as Jalan Persiaran Damai, Persiaran Masjid, Persiaran Kayangan, Persiaran Hishamuddin and Persiaran Sukan will be closed in stages starting at 12.00 pm on March 14, 2015, and will be reopened after the Le Tour De Langkawi ends.
In relation to that, the Council also urged the public to not use Jalan Persiaran Bandaraya during this period to avoid traffic jams and to always follow instructions given from time to time by the police and MBSA.
The Council also asked road users to cooperate and use alternative routes to get to their intended destination.
