KAJANG, 12 Mar: Today, Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) launched four main cores of the Kajang State Legislative Assembly (DUN) by-election manifesto.
The manifesto was launched by the PKR candidate, Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, at the Main PKR Operations Room here at Sungai Sekamat today.
The four cores involve the issues of safety, traffic congestion, youth and small-time entrepreneurs, as well as urban issues.
Dr Wan Azizah said that the four cores of the manifesto was drawn up based on the results of a survey conducted earlier.
“These are the four main promises we will uphold when we win in the Kajang by-election,” she said in the manifesto launching press conference.
The PKR Strategy Director, Rafizi Ramli, said that PKR will distribute about 30,000 postcards containing the manifesto.
He said that the use of postcards is the most effective method of conveying information compared to a manifesto book, which is usually quite thick.
“This method is also used in other countries except for Malaysia which is only now putting it into practice,” he said.
Apart from Dr Wan Azizah and Rafizi, also at the press conference were the Sri Muda Assemblyman, Shuhaimi Shafiei and the PKR Communications Bureau Director, Fahmi Fadzil.
