MPSJ FC advance to FA Cup Finals

SHAH ALAM, Feb 6th: Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) Football Club, once again made ​​it to the finals of the FA Cup after since its first time in 2011 where it won second place.

In a statement issued by the Corporate Communications and Relations, Corporate Planning Department, MPSJ FC had to fight a few rounds before qualifying for the finals.

In the statement, the MPSJ FC team won 1-0 against the Prison team at the semifinals to qualify for the FA Cup finals.

“MPSJ FC team was also pitted against Megah Murni at the quarter-finals band won with a score pf 3-0,” he said.

MPSJ FC was registered with the Commissioner of Sports in 2009, but had joined the Selangor Football League (FAS) earlier in 2007.

The team comprises staff members and former players who also represented MPSJ at the Local Government Sports and Sports Association of Statutory Bodies Malaysia.

“The highest of MPSJ management, Yang DiPertua Datuk Asmawi Kasbi and his deputy, Datuk Abdullah Marjunid also provide full support to the team and inspire them to strive higher so that MPSJ will become a regular name in the football arena.”
