Orang Asli Cultural and Arts Carnival 2015 to foster closer ties

SHAH ALAM, 2 Oct: The Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) will organise the Orang Asli Cultural and Arts Carnival 2015 on October 4.

The Corporate Communications Officer, Muhammad Azli Miswan, said that the programme will take place at the Rasau Hilir Orang Asli Village Field, Batu 14, Puchong, and will start at 10 am to 7.30 pm.

“It aims to build closer ties between MPSJ and the indigenous communities in particular and the residents of Puchong.

“This programme is also the platform for promoting the MPSJ Green Tourism Programme, in addition to becoming a platform to share experience about the culture and uniqueness of indigenous community traditions,” he said in a press statement.

Also present at the programme is the MPSJ Yang Dipertua, Datuk Nor Hisham Ahmad Dahlan, and it will involve over 10 competitions and exciting activities.

“In addition, we are providing a number of booths for various agencies to enliven the visitors,” he said.
