Perangsang Selangor allocated RM1.7 million for social responsibility

SHAH ALAM, 24 Sept: Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad (Perangsang Selangor) allocated RM1.7 million to carry out the Selangor Social Responsibility Stimulus (RTMS) programme.

The implementation of the RTMS is divided into three parts, namely religious activities, charitable contributions and strategic cooperation with non-governmental organisations for the success of community activities.

The Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility, Perangsang Selangor, Mohd Fauzi Mohd Ghazali, said that Perangsang Selangor delivered the financial assistance amounting to RM35,500 to 10 recipients.

“Which consists of school charitable organisations, mosques and non-governmental organisations with hopes that the contributions channelled can help and bring success to community programmes.

“Yayasan Amal Malaysia received a contribution of RM5,000, RM5,00 for Pusat Jagaan Al-Fikrah Malaysia, RM5,000 for Pusat Jagaan Nur Hasanah, RM3,000 for the Darul Muhajirin People’s Religious School and RM3,000 for Persatuan Inspirasi Muhibah India Muslim Malaysia,” he said.

He said that other welfare centres that received donations were Pertubuhan Kebajikan Pusat Jagaan Suci Rohani which received RM3,000, RM3,000 for the SK Taman Kosas PTA, RM3,000 for the Al-Mustaqim Bandar Sri Putra Mosque, RM3,000 for the Malaysian Single Mother’s Welfare Association and RM2,500 for the Selangor Nur Isaniah Welfare Club.

Apart from the RTMS, Perangsang Selangor also carried out the Selangor Sports Stimulus (RSS) initiative and the Selangor Entrepreneur Development Stimulus (RPUS) with a total allocation of RM5 million a year.
