PSRA: Parent’s Blessing the Catalyst for Nur Nabiha and Aidil Ikram’s Success

SHAH ALAM, 14 Nov: Excellent student of the Religious Primary School Examination (PSRA) in Selangor, Nur Nabiha Nasuha Muhammad Zamri, said that blessings from her parents before going to school is the key to her success.

Nur Nabiha, 12, who scored 99.2 percent, said that blessings from her parents coupled with deep affection for her parents, provides her the aim to gain knowledge in school.

“Every time before I go to school, I ask for my parent’s blessings. I ask them to pray for my success and I too pray on my own after the prayers,” she said after being announced as the outstanding female student for the Selangor Level PSRA 2013 here at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Mosque yesterday.

Nur Nabiha who is studying at the Tengku Ampuan Fatimah Integrated Religious Primary School in Batu Belah, Klang, is also confident that the blessings by her parents are among the factors of her success in the examination.

Meanwhile, Nabiha’s father, Muhammad Zamri Che Ros, 41, who works as a delivery agent, said that he had never sent his daughter for tuition classes. Instead, more focus is emphasised on education at home and providing reference books requested by his daughter.

“She is hard-working when doing her revisions, he never misses her prayers and she always reads the Al-Quran,” he said.

As for the male category, Muhammad Aidil Ikram Amran, who studies at the Batu 13 Religious Primary School in Puchong, said that he always focuses 100 percent during learning sessions in school and that is the key to his success of scoring 98.8 percent.

“There is time to play and relax, but I give my full attention during learning sessions, and it is important to respect parents and teachers to receive blessing,” he said.

His father, Amran Abdullah, who works as a private technician, said that he only entered Aidil to tuition classes provided by the school during the exam period.

“Before the exam, the school conducts night tuition classes. Thanks and gratitude to the teachers and the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) for focusing on the students,” he said.
