SHAH ALAM, 3 Sept: The Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) will be organising the Jalur Gemilang Cycling Programme in conjunction with the 57th Independence Day and Malaysia Day celebration.
According to MPAJ, the programme, which will start as early as 7 am to 1 pm, will take place at the Pandan Indah Municipal Field on September 16.
“Participants are required to wear costumes that are traditionally or independence themed.
“Prizes have also been prepared for the winner of the most beautiful clothes or the most beautiful bicycle decoration according to the theme,” they said.
Participants also have the chance to win the lucky draw prize worth RM3,000.
Apart from that, MPAJ will also hold other interesting activities such as the galah panjang (long pole) game and congkak throughout the programme.
