Samad Said: “Oppose GST, 3 paths before happiness”

KUALA LUMPUR, 1 May: National laureate, Datuk A. Samad Said, said that the people have to pursue three paths before reaching a happy life.

Speaking at the #kita lawan – cancel GST rally, he said after the third path there is only path for the people to be free from the clutches of tyranny.

“Today we are on the streets, second in the election, third in Putrajaya and only in the fourth we will be happy,” he said, receiving a roar of applause from tens of thousands of participants at Jalan Yap Kwan Seng in front of KLCC today.

Called the ‘Modern Tok Janggut’ he said that he is rising today for the survival of our children and grandchildren’s future.

“Nowadays, Tok Janggut’s era has gone. So, a new Tok Janggut has appeared.

“I am not as great as he was, I believe that what you are doing here is the best path for our children and grandchildren,” he said.
