SHAH ALAM, JUNE 27: The Skim Peduli Sihat is getting more popular among the people in Selangor when the number of participants continue to increase as a result of proactive measures throughout Selangor.

Selgate Group Chief Executive Officer, Noor Hisyam Ghouth said, the increase in new members every month is a result of the joint effort between the State Economic Planning Unit (UPEN) and several local non-governmental organisations (NGO).

“Alhamdulillah, the programme continue to receive encouraging response. We have done more than 30 roadshows across Selangor with UPEN and several NGOs.

“Although we are just a vendor but we still take on duties such as advertising and promotions through mass media,” he said.

As a vedor of this Skim Peduli Sihat, the Selgate Group believes that the State Government’s target of 1 million Selangor citizens to benefit from this health protection scheme can be achieved by the end of 2017.

The number is extimated from 250,000 families in the B40 group who consist of four family members with income of RM1,500 to RM3,000 a month.
