KLANG, 29 Oct: Selangor took the initiative to organise the State Level Veterinary Carnival to celebrate breeders, livestock-based industry operators (IATn) and those involved in the veterinary field to promote their products to the local community.
The carnival, which is being held from October 28 to 30 at the MMeru Multipurpose Hall, is also a chance to introduce breeders and IATn operators across the state to improve network among them to expand their businesses.
Apart from that, it is also aimed to provide information to the new generation on breeding businesses, thus creating interest among them to carry out livestock and livestock-based industries in the future.
The programme which has been running since the 1990s is carried out in in rotation at every district and filled with various activities to attract visitors.
Among the activities organised include static and life animal exhibitions, as well as information sessions regarding breeding promotion and demonstrations, and selling livestock-based industry products.
Apart from that, the public also have the opportunity to participate in futsal competitions quizzes and a lucky draw, as well as witness stage performances.
