SHAH ALAM, 2 Oct: Thousands of fans of Vincci shoes were disappointed when the famous brand’s warehouse sale was cancelled by Padini Holdings Berhad.
Selangor Kini found on Facebook that netizens shared about the extraordinary congestion at the warehouse sale that took place at the Hicom-Glenmarie Industrial Park.
“Wanted to buy my wife shoes, but Vincci had to be closed because there were too many people and will reopen tomorrow at 10 am,” wrote Shah Affendi on the Shah Alam Resident’s group (Do Not Like To Ban People).
At the same time, the Star TV Sports page also shared a similar incident on a snap shot with the caption ‘We hate finding the word ‘Sale’.
The status that was updated two hours ago received over 8,000 likes with almost 2,000 comments.
“What do women buy so many shoes for? You are not centipedes,” commented Umat Rasulullah.
“Shop like you will die tomorrow,” quipped Adriana Rayyan.
In relation to the overwhelming response, Padini first informed on Facebook that the sales today had to be postponed until tomorrow.
However, the latest status informed that the warehouse sale had to be cancelled for safety reasons.
The Vincci Warehouse Sale is scheduled to start today to October 4 with all shoes being sold at RM15.
