KUALA LUMPUR, June 20: Pakatan Rakyat (PR) will still be participating in the Blackout 505 Assembly this Saturday and invites all leaders of parties, activists, supporters and the people to participate in the assembly.

This was stated by the PKR De Facto Leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in a press conference at the PAS Headquarters after the Pakatan Rakyat Leadership Council meeting.

Anwar added that the basis of the evidence of electoral weakness is the use of indelible ink which was promised by the Election Commission (EC) as a result of the resolution of the Parliamentary Select Committee on the improvement of the EC.

These things were promised to Malaysians and are enshrined in the Elections Act.

“Pakatan Rakyat, together with the majority of people will gather at Padang Merbok on Saturday, June 22 at 2pm,” he said.

In the same press conference, Anwar also informed that the Pakatan Rakyat Convention will be held on Sunday, June 23 at De Palma, Ampang.
