SHAH ALAM, July 8: The State Government has allocated RM800,000 per year for maintenance, repair and upgrading sports infrastructure throughout Selangor.
Youth, Sports, Infrastructure and Public Utilities Exco, Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi said, the allocation includes reparation and maintenance work for futsal courts.
“The amount for maintenance and upgrading of sports facilities in Selangor is RM800,000 per year.
“In total, every RM16,000 will be distributed to the 56 constituencies in Selangor for reparation or upgrading of sports facilities, including futsal courts.
“It is not a big amount, but we look at the priorities where certain areas that have been identified with severe damage, we will immediately fix it,” he said during the Selangor State Assembly session here today.
He said that in answer to a question from the Bukit Melawati Assemblyman, Jakiran Jacomah.
