This is based on two factors; the people’s anger towards Umno-BN and sympathy for Datuk Seri Wan Azizah and Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim who has been tacked on by Umno-BN since 16 years ago.”

The PKR Deputy President, Fuziah Salleh: “Datuk Seri Wan Azizah does not have to replace Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, but she was chosen by Pakatan Rakyat and Parti Keadilan Rakyat.

“She is different from the Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Ismail from 1998. Today, she has her own strength after experience being the President of PKR and the previous Member of Parliament for Permatang Pauh. She is not just the mother of her children, but the mother of all Malaysians,”

The Shah Alam Member of Parliament, Khalid Samad: “Datuk Seri Wan Azizah is the most qualified candidate with her experience and in terms of her educational qualification. Her presence in Selangor will certainly strengthen the State Government administration,”

The PAS President, Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang: “What is important today is that we can see brotherhood between parties, this also goes for the supporters come from various parties; PAS, PKR and DAP,”
