SHAH ALAM 23 MAY : The Selangor Islamic Religious Department (MAIS) has decided to postpone its decision to close Sekolah Bina Insan (SBI) and shall put it on hold till all current students complete their studies.

Its Secretary, Datuk Bakhtiar Hussin said the decision to postpone the closure was made after considering suggestions and detailed explanations, he said in a statement earlier today.
“MAIS will postpone the closing of SBI till all current students complete their studies in SBI, ” he said.

MAIS is open to any suggestions from the parents of students as well as, any suggestion for SBI’s new location or any suggestions that will benefit all parties.

Previously, MAIS made the decision to close SBI because of financial constraints and also the business plan of Islamic University College of Selangor (KUIS) targeting to add up to 10,000 more students.
