The investments from the subsidiary company of the Darul Ehsan Berhad Group (KDEB) are from the benefits of property sales of Phase 1 and Phase 2 of Taman Perindustrian Pulau Indah.
Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, said the investments will be able to provide around 6,000 new job opportunities.

He said, the open job opportunities provided by CSSB will be able to assist the residents in progressing and uplifting their lifestyle and socioeconomic status.

“With development such as this, we hope that efforts from CSSB will be able to help lighten the burden of the residents of Pulau Indah and to help with their socioeconomic life.

“We wish that the new developments will not marginalize the residents of the area. It needs to balance with the socioeconomic standards of the local residents,” he said at a Ramadhan aid Handover ceremony in Kampung Perigi Nenas, Pulau Indah.

CSSB is the property developer that is responsible in developing a Halal Hub and Industrial Park of Pulau Indah with the land as wide as 5, 324 acres.

In the programme, the company was involved in donating RM50,000 to four different villages, four mosques, and six prayer centres in conjunction with the month of Ramadan.

The donations were given by Abdul Khalid and also attended by CSSB Director, Raja Idris Raja Kamaluddin, State Finance Officer, Datuk Nordin Sulaiman and Senator Syed Sahir Syed Mohamud.

Abdul Khalid hopes other companies and agencies will be able to emulate CSSB and its efforts in caring and to help provide for the life of the lower income group.

“Activies such as this are among the social responsibilities of CSSB since 2002. This aid will somehow be able to lighten the burdens of the recipients during this fasting month,” he added.
