PKR Election: 3 more sacked for involvement in a violent incident

SHAH ALAM, 19 June: PKR has sacked three more of its members after they were found to have been involved in a violent incident with another member in Sabak Bernam on May 13.

The PKR Disciplinary Board Chairman, Datuk Dr Tee Kee Kwong, said that the matter was decided at the PKR Political Bureau meeting yesterday, which was chaired by the PKR President, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, after being discussed by the party’s Disciplinary Board.

“The PKR Disciplinary Board has reviewed and held investigations on several cases related to member’s conduct and discipline,” said Kee Kwong in a press statement.

They have been sacked; Mohammad Ali Othman from the Sabak Bernam branch after being found to have acted violently towards a party member on May 13.

The two others sacked are Md Zaidin Md Zaini from the Sabak Bernam branch and Lim Chee Hoe @ Didi Lim from the Sungai Besar branch for abetting Mohammad Ali bin Othman in the same incident.

Chee Hoe is also accused of being involved in acts of violence during the Sabak Bernam branch election on May 11.

Mohammad Ali and Md Zaidin also refused to attend the Disciplinary Board hearing.

Meanwhile, three others, Saminathan a/l Kitchan from the Kelana Jaya branch, Muhammad Faizul Osman and Jayamalah a/p S.Andi, both from the PJ Selatan branch, were given stern warning.

The three of them were found to have interfered with the polling process when the election was held at their respective branches.
