“The Political Bureau has agreed to appoint Dr Syed Husin to begin investigations. I understand that currently, Dr Syed Husin is abroad.

“We have also received his approval,” said Dr Kee Kwong when contacted by Selangor Kini.

Dr Kee Kwong explained that Dr Syed Husin, who is the former Deputy President, is the only newly appointed member to conduct the investigation.

Previously, the Member of Parliament for Rembau who had his membership suspended, Badrul Hisham Shaharin, in a written complaint to the PKR Election Complaints Committee (ECC), claimed that there were attempts by the individual running for Deputy President to bribe the ECC Chairman.

Badrul Hisham believes that the bribe was committed on behalf of a camp leader contesting in the election this time.
