#PrayForMH17 hashtag dominates social sites

SHAH ALAM, 18 July: The #PrayForMH17 hashtag is dominating trending of social networking sites in sign of solidarity with Malaysia Airlines (MAS) Boieng-777 aircraft tragedy in Ukraine yesterday.

This second incident that has hit MAS within four month after the disappearance of the MH370 shocked the world because the aircraft was believed to be shot down by rebel forces in Kiev.

All Malaysians and the world expressed grief and sorrow on social media sites on the unfortunate incident that befell 285 passengers of the flight and 15 crew members who were on their way to Malaysia from Amsterdam, Netherlands.

In addition to condolences, social web browsers also shared photos of the aircraft debris found by locals and news agencies, in addition to a video that showed smoke coming out of what is believed to be the MH17 aircraft.

The aircraft took off from Amsterdam at 12.15 local Amsterdam time and was scheduled to reach KLIA at 6.10 am, Malaysian time.

MH17 celebrated its 17th birthday after operating for 17 years and started its first flight on July 17, 1997.

As of now, no party has claimed responsibility for the incident.
