The people want the CM issue to be solved prudently

SHAH ALAM, 23 July: In spite of concerns on the development of the MH17 tragedy and the conflict in Gaza, the people still managed to express their feelings about the proposal to change the Selangor Chief Minister.

Selangor Kini found that on Facebook, many people are confused by the proposal and many have asked for further clarification.

Most people, including those who are not from Selangor, continued to express support towards Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim who is described as a leader who always puts the people first and also an irreplaceable leader.

“They should state the relevance for TSKI to be replaced by another candidate. Throughout over one term TSKI led the administration, Selangor has shown a lot of improvement in terms of economy, education and social that is very encouraging.

“The excellent administration by TSKI has been admitted by both friend and foe. So far there were 14 Selangor Chief Ministers before, TSKI is the best without being marred by issues of corruption, cronyism and so on,” said Ar May Asyraf.

“Continue to work professionally Tan Sri. We, the people of Selangor, especially in Shah Alam, support leaders who place the people’s interests first because of Allah, not for the party,” said Roslina Abdul Rahman.

“I am from Perak, but I have been making a living in Selangor for 12 years. I want to state my pride, confidence and support towards the administration and leadership of Tan Sri in Selangor,” said Noor Halini Baharim.

“It would be sad and truly a loss if Selangor loses a CM with the caliber, intelligence, smart in managing the finances and economy of Selangor with trust and transparency. May Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim be maintained. Even being a non-Selangorian, I appreciate and admire him, just like a Selangorian,” said Lina Latip.

In addition, Abdul Khalid’s integrity is also admired and received support from pro-Umno-BN supporters who are on the fence.

“I am not a PR supporter, but I admire the leadership of Tan Sri all this while for placing the people first before party interests, to make a change in the near future is not the best choice, but if a change is made after the elections, it is the party’s right. We do want there to be misunderstandings like what happened in Terengganu previously,” said Joy Chanis.

“Although I am pro-government, but as a native of this lucky state of Selangor, I am pretty proud with Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim’s leadership as CM and I hope that Tan Sri will remain as the Selangor CM. The administration under Tan Sri is managed and developed, in fact the welfare of the citizens are protected, thanks, Alhamdulilah,” said Areel Rahman.
