SHAH ALAM, 31 AUGUST: Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim is expected to release a few statements regarding the current status of the CM position of the state, by next Wednesday.

However, Abdul Khalid refused to comment further regarding the statement.

“I will not make any comment for the time being.”

“I will release a few statements regarding the issue by next Wednesday,” he said when met at the Opening Ceremony of the Selangor Book Fest 2014 at the Shah Alam Convention Centre, here.

Before, Abdul Khalid has just met Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan of Selangor to apply to resign as Chief Minister.

The Sultan however, did not accept the resignation till a new Chief Minister is decided.
Leaders of every Pakatan Rakyat political party was asked to suggest more than two names for the candidate to replace the Chief Minister.
