SHAH ALAM, 13 Aug: The Chief Minister of Selangor, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, has allowed for the PKR Annual Congress to be held at the Shah Alam Malawati Stadium despite PKR sacking him from the party.
This altogether denies allegations on pro-Umno blogs claiming that he prevented PKR efforts to book the stadium from 22 to 24 August.
“We have allowed for the convention to be held at the (Malawati) staudium,” said Abdul Khalid, quoted from Malaysiakini.
This was also confirmed by a stadium management staff that refused to be named.
According to the staff, the stadium did not receive any instructions to cancel the booking of the stadium for the congress.
