SHAH ALAM, 28 Aug: The Klang Municipal Council (MPK) will open counters for the renewal of business and advertising licences for 2015 from September 2 to December 31.

The MPK Director of the Communications and Public Complaints Department, Norfiza Mahfiz, said that the Local Authority will open counters at several selected locations to facilitate the public in dealing with them.

“Among these locations are GM Klang, Shaw Centrepoint, Centro, Giant Hypermarket Complex, Bukit Raja, Aeon Bukit Tinggi, Harbour Ppace and Klang Parade.

“All licences can be renewed at the time except for several licences including for massage and reflexology parlours, entertainment, cyber centres, scrap metal, food premises, kindergartens and factories with no approval.

“All the exempt licences may be renewed only during office hours and the people can come to the counters during working days,” she said in a statement to Selangor Kini.

In addition, Norfiza said that the counters will also be open on Saturdays and Sundays.

She said that relevant parties can check the schedule at the MPK website of the MPKlang Communication Channel Facebook page to know the time and day to make payment.
