SHAH ALAM, 11 Aug: Port Klang and Miri recorded moderate readings on the Air Pollutant Index (API) as of 9am today.
According the Department of Environment (DOE) website, the API in Port Klang is at 65 and 54 in Miri.
Other areas across the country recorded good API reading; between 0 to 50.
The API reading of between 0 and 50 are categorised as good, 51 to 100 (moderate), 101 to 200 (unhealthy), 201 to 300 (very unhealthy) and 300 and above (hazardous).
The public can check the API status of their respective areas by visiting http://apims.doe.gov.my.
