SHAH ALAM, 18 Aug: The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, ordered for the Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, to wait until HRH the Sultan returns to the country to discuss the position of the Chief Minister.

The Sultan of Selangor’s Private Secretary, Datuk Mohamad Munir Bani, in a statement said that they have received Abdul Khalid’ requests to meet with the Selangor Sultan overseas to explain the situation and current political developments in the state of Selangor.

“In the request, Abdul Khalid also mentioned that he will touch on the issue of his position as Chief Minister and I have informed HRH about the request.

“However, HRH has ordered for Abdul Khalid to wait until he returns to the country in a few days,” he said.
