PKNS did not receive report of misconduct on Mohamed Azmin’s alleged corruption case

SHAH ALAM, 22 Oct: The Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) had never received any report on the alleged corruption misconduct by the Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali.

The PKNS Public Relations Manager, Ishak Hashim, in a statement, said that the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) also has the right to conduct an investigation, and in fact, PKNS is ready to cooperate.

He said this in reference to media reports on the alleged corruption misconduct when Mohamed Azmin held the post as a PKNS Corporation member.

Ishak said that PKNS is an organisation that practices the best corporate administration and also the first State Economic Development Corporation which signed the Corporate Integrity Pledge like what was done by companies and government agencies.

Recently, several local media reported that the MACC is investigating Azmin on alleged misuse of funds when he held the position.

The accusations of the misuse of funds was said to have happened in a transaction involving the PJ Central Development.
