WHAT IS THE CASE? Damaged roads in Section 15 & 20 repaired, needs monitoring

SHAH ALAM, 9 Dec: The pothole problems in Section 15 and Section 20 have now been resolved in stages when the responsible parties began resurfacing the damaged roads.

Selangor Kini found that the potholes, which are dangerous to road users, have been repaired, especially at Persiaran Tengku Ampuan in Section 20.

Prior to this, some complainants informed on the Shah Alam Residence Group media site about the severe potholes around Section 15 and 20.

One of the two lanes of the road is being resurfaced while the road at the residential area is also being repaired.

Resurfacing has also been carried out in Section 15 where part of the roadside was dug up for pipe replacement work.

However, based on scrutiny, the resurfacing work was found to not have been done neatly and evenly.

Meanwhile, the part of the road dug up in front of the Perodua Showroom in Section 15 has been resurfaced.

Despite major damages being successfully overcome, there are still several small potholes that have the potential to collect water and may be dangerous to road users, particularly motorcycles, especially on rainy days.

Some heavy machinery is still seen parked along the roadside to continue restoration and resurfacing of the damaged roads until it is completed.
