Amirudin the new manager of the Selangor football team

SHAH ALAM, 29 Jan: The Exco for Youth Development and Sports, Amirudin Shari, was unanimously elected as a member of the State Team and the Football Association of Selangor (FAS) International Competition Committee, holding the position of team manager.

The Chief Minister who is also the President of FAS, Mohamed Azmin Ali, said that the combination of young leaders with an experienced leader can help Selangor grasp the trophy this season.

“We are also taking proactive and drastic measures, including sponsorship by state government subsidiary companies and the private sector.

“Until this afternoon, the response received by interested parties is very good. Previously, the budget was around RM8 million, but this year, it will be certainly more than that,” he said.

Prior to this, he joined the council in a meeting with the players of the Selangor team and the management team at the Shah Alam Stadium this evening.

Apart from Amirudin, the former President of the PKINS FC, Noor Hisham Mohd Ghouth, was appointed as the deputy team manager.

At the same time, Mohamed Azmin said that season passes will be announced before the home game in Selangor on February 21.

“For that, we have held meetings and talks with fans to determine the number of items, including the ticket safety issue,” he said.
