CM: Ready to cooperate with the federal government to redevelop abandoned projects

IJOK, 22 Jan: Claims that the Selangor government refuses to cooperate with Putrajaya in development projects operated by the federal government are not true.

The Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, said that instead the federal government is reluctant to cooperate.

“We have a state action committee to look into the progress of projects. They have refused to cooperate. They do not want to meet and did not provide the list of projects,” he said.

Mohamed Azmin said this after the ground-breaking ceremony of the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) Selangorku Dream Homes in Section 5, Kota Puteri, today.

“So how can we review it? Noh Omar’s claims are a lie and not true at all,” he said.

On January 19, the Selangor State Federal Action Council (MTPNS) Chairman, Datuk Seri Noh Omar, wanted him to conduct a fieldwork to review stalled projects.

The project is the construction of the University Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Aviation Technology (UniKL MIAT) at a cost of RM120 million in Subang and the additional building project of the Police

“I am willing to work with the federal government and they need to decide who their representative is,” he said.
